About the Role Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Fitter & Turners to join our team in Townsville.
 
Multiple opportunities are available across workshop and site based projects, with both casual and permanent positions on offer. Immediate starts are available, with overtime opportunities for the right candidates.

Opportunities Available

• Fitter & Turners - Workshop based roles
• Mechanical Fitters - Workshop and site based roles

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment
• Perform fitting and assembly of components and machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Work within workshop and site environments
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

Qualifications and Experience

• Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets or willingness to obtain
• Current White Card or willingness to obtain
• Forklift Licence is highly regarded
• Overhead Crane competency or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in a workshop or industrial environment
