Immediate Start | Local Work | $52.50/hr + Penalties | Up to 10-Hour Days

Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Dogmen/Doggers for an immediate start on a construction project based in Newport / Woody Point, Brisbane.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dogger looking for consistent local work with the potential for Saturday shifts depending on workload.
Please note: Candidates must live on the Northside of Brisbane.

The Role
Working as part of an active construction site team, you will be responsible for safely coordinating lifting operations and assisting with the movement and placement of materials around site.

Key duties include:

• Slinging and directing loads
• Selecting the correct lifting gear for each lift
• Conducting pre-start checks on chains, slings and lifting equipment
• Guiding crane movements using radio communication and hand signals
• Establishing and managing exclusion zones
• Assisting with steel, formwork, reo and material lifts
• Ensuring safe load placement around the site
• Working closely with crane operators and site teams
• Maintaining a strong focus on site safety and lifting procedures

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Dogman/Dogger on active construction sites
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with crane operators and site personnel
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Must live on the Northside of Brisbane

• High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG)
• Working at Heights
• Construction Industry White Card
