We are currently seeking an experienced Polywelder to join our client for an upcoming temp/casual opportunity in Western Australia.
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Polywelder with proven experience completing poly pipe welding, installation and maintenance within civil, mining, construction or similar environments.

The Role As a Polywelder, you’ll be responsible for supporting poly pipe installation, welding and associated works while ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to the required standard.
Your duties may include:
- HDPE poly pipe welding
- Butt fusion and electrofusion welding
- Poly pipe installation and repairs
- Cutting, preparing and joining pipe
- Installing fittings and associated components
- Inspecting completed welds and identifying defects
- Assisting with pipe positioning and alignment
- Reading and interpreting relevant plans and specifications
- Operating polywelding equipment and tooling
- Completing pre-start inspections on equipment
- Working alongside operators, tradespeople and other site personnel
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Following site procedures and project safety requirements
What We’re Looking For To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience working as a Polywelder
- Demonstrated experience with HDPE pipe
- Experience with butt fusion and/or electrofusion welding
- Relevant current Polywelding qualifications/tickets
- Previous mining, civil, construction, utilities or infrastructure experience highly regarded
- Current Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Ability to confidently use relevant polywelding equipment and tooling
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Full Australian working rights
Additional site tickets and current VOCs will be highly regarded where applicable.
About You You’re an experienced Polywelder who understands the importance of
quality weld preparation, correct welding procedures and safe pipe installation.
You’re reliable, hands-on and comfortable working within a busy project or site environment while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
