Title: Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £15.25 per hour
 
BRC are working closely with a housing provider who are looking to recruit Customer Care Agents to join their team in Hull.
 
This role involves providing an excellent customer service experience, handling a high volume of inbound calls and emails, responding to housing-related enquiries and resolving customer issues at the first point of contact wherever possible.
 
A key focus of the role will be raising emergency repair jobs with the Gas Department, ensuring urgent issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
 
Duties:

• Handling high volumes of inbound customer calls and emails.
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues at the first point of contact.
• Raising emergency repair jobs with the Gas Department.
• Liaising with housing, maintenance and external teams to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with effectively.
• Supporting vulnerable customers and adapting communication styles to meet individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
• Working towards individual and team performance targets.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service or contact centre experience.
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working towards performance targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to customer service.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient when working under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
