This is a HSEQ leadership role within Delta, a contractor delivering critical services across three business units and Corporate. Reporting directly to the CEO and operating as part of the Leadership Group, you will lead Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Sustainability across a diverse and operationally complex organisation. Delta works on behalf of clients to build, maintain and operate essential infrastructure and services, requiring comfort with multiple risk profiles, regulatory settings and client expectations. Day to day, you will provide oversight and assurance across HSEQ systems and performance in a contractor environment. This includes leadership of critical incident responses, oversight of ICAM investigations and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effective and embedded. You will drive continuous improvement in safety culture, systems and compliance across varied work types and operating contexts. Regular engagement with regulators, certification bodies and clients is part of the role.
We are seeking a credible, pragmatic leader from a regulated, high‑consequence industry such as electricity, construction, infrastructure or utilities. You bring sound judgement, resilience and the confidence to balance governance expectations with practical delivery. You are comfortable influencing at executive and Board level while remaining grounded in frontline realities. Relocation support and flexibility can be discussed for the right candidate.
