Delta is your smart thinking infrastructure specialist. We construct, manage, and maintain essential energy and environmental infrastructure. Every day we make a difference in the lives of New Zealanders. We make communities better for people to live, work and play in - keeping the lights on, the trees trimmed and the parks green.
As a Trainee Electrician, you’ll develop the skills and experience required to complete your New Zealand Electrical Trade Level 4 qualification (Electricity Supply strand). We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and ready to learn in a practical, team-based environment. You’ll enjoy working outdoors, be committed to safety and quality, and have a genuine interest in electrical or trade-related work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build a career and grow their skills from the ground up.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- NCEA Level 2 (including Maths and English)
- Full Class 1 licence (or working towards it)
- Strong interest in electrical or trade work
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship
- Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ideally, you will have completed a pre-trade qualification.
