HR Coordinator
Brisbane CBD | $80,000 - $90,000 + Super | Full Time 


An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join a growing Brisbane-based construction group.

This is a broad, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the organisation. Working closely with managers, employees and senior leadership, you will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, HR systems and general employee support.

The role would suit an HR professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in their attention to detail and wants to build their career within an ambitious and fast-moving business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR correspondence.
• Coordinate recruitment across corporate and project-based positions.
• Manage interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Complete reference checks and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions and probation review processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system information.
• Respond to general HR enquiries from employees and managers.
• Monitor contracts, qualifications, licences and compliance documents.
• Support performance management and employee relations processes.
• Coordinate payroll changes and employee information.
• Assist with policy, procedure and HR template updates.
• Support employee engagement, training and wellbeing initiatives.
• Coordinate employee departures and offboarding activities.
• Prepare HR reports and monitor outstanding actions and deadlines.

About You
You will be approachable, highly organised and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience in an HR administration or coordination role.
• A qualification in human resources, business or a related discipline.
• Understanding of Australian employment practices and legislation.
• Experience preparing contracts and employment documentation.
• Exposure to recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong written communication and document preparation skills.
• High attention to detail and confidence managing sensitive information.
• The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and follow through on tasks.
• Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• A practical, professional and service-focused approach.

Experience within property development, construction or a project-based environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
