DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a leading real estate development firm headquartered in Aventura, FL, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to provide high-level support to their in-house counsel. You will manage both electronic and hard-copy case files and support matters spanning general liability, employment law, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, premises liability, personal injury, workers’ compensation, EEOC and wage‐hour claims. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and organizing pleadings, subpoenas, discovery responses, position statements, and correspondence
- Tracking and calendaring court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and compliance timelines
- Conducting legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Coordinating with HR, Risk Management, outside counsel, and third‐party vendors
- Assisting with trial/hearing preparation and internal investigations
- Supporting all phases of litigation from intake through resolution
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative legal team environment.
Aligned with ttg’s commitment to seamless, high-quality service, you’ll work alongside subject-matter experts to deliver the best outcomes for our client’s in-house legal department. REQUIREMENTS: - Certified Paralegal (preferably through NALA, NFPA, or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ litigation paralegal experience in a corporate or law-firm setting
- Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems; experience with Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated empathy and collaborative spirit, reflecting ttg’s culture of innovation and excellence
