As a pivotal member of the HR team, reporting to the Director of People, you’ll act as a trusted advisor throughout the organisation. You’ll support day-to-day HR operations, help managers build capability, and ensure compliance with key aged care regulations and processes.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Employee Relations: Lead and support ER matters in aged care and disability, including high-risk cases. Be the go-to for navigating awards (SCHADS) and EBA interpretation.
Stakeholder Management: Quickly build strong, respectful relationships with managers, supporting them through day-to-day HR challenges.
Data and Reporting: Prepare monthly HR metrics and reports for board committees—strong Excel skills are essential.
Compliance Support: Work with compliance and operational teams on sensitive issues, including aged care commission reporting and resident care concerns.
Your Toolkit
Solid HR background (minimum 3–4 years) with a strong focus on employee relations in aged care or disability services.
Deep knowledge of EBAs and SCHADS award. Confident in navigating complex ER issues.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable preparing reports for board and committee meetings.
Proven ability to build trust and coach managers, even when their capability is low.
Adaptable and ready to step into a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
