With a headcount just shy of 1000 and a high-service culture with a hands-on approach, they are looking for their next Payroll Manager to support a full payroll system review and implementation.
Is This Your Perfect Match? As the leader of the payroll function, You’ll lead a small team (2 Payroll Officers + 1 Admin) while building structure, governance and credibility across the function. The interim Payroll Manager (via consultancy) has laid the groundwork. Now, it needs an in-house leader to embed best practice, reimagine reporting, and bring the business on the journey. What You’ll Be Driving
Leading payroll BAU - fortnightly pay runs in advance, EA bandings, STIP payments, helpdesk queries, etc.
Managing system overhaul from discovery to implementation, incl. ESS/MSS features
Strengthening reporting and integration (HRIS is Cornerstone; LMS + ATS also in use)
Coaching the team - there’s strong capability here, they just need the right leadership
Working closely with HR and finance to align workflows and lift capability across the board

Payroll leadership experience, ideally with systems transformation under your belt
