ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Graphic Designer Intern, you will assist with the development of visual content and marketing materials that support the company's brand and communication objectives.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Creating visual content for social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Designing marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, presentations, banners, and promotional materials.
- Assisting with branding and visual identity projects.
- Creating graphics for websites, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
- Supporting the development of social media content and campaign assets.
- Assisting with photo editing, image selection, and basic video or motion graphics where required.
- Creating design concepts, layouts, and visual presentations.
- Ensuring all creative materials follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
- Collaborating with marketing and other teams to develop creative solutions.
- Researching current design, branding, and visual communication trends.
- Revising designs based on feedback and project requirements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong creative and visual communication skills.
- Good understanding of typography, colour, composition, and layout.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is highly desirable.
- Experience with Canva or other digital design tools is advantageous.
- Understanding of social media design and digital content is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication skills and willingness to receive feedback.
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Portfolio or examples of university, personal, or previous design projects are highly regarded.
