QA Analyst Intern
 

 
Role Overview
 
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Analyst Intern to gain practical experience in software quality assurance, application testing, and defect identification. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals to help ensure that software applications, systems, and digital products meet quality standards and user requirements.
 
This internship is suitable for students, recent graduates, or aspiring IT professionals looking to develop their technical skills, gain industry exposure, and build a foundation for a career in software testing and quality assurance.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with manual testing of software applications, websites, and digital platforms.
• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, and report software bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
• Conduct functional, regression, usability, and basic compatibility testing.
• Work with developers and project teams to investigate issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, defect logs, and quality assurance reports.
• Participate in software testing cycles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of system functionality.
• Learn and apply industry-standard QA methodologies, tools, and testing practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Good analytical, organisational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and software testing principles.
• Familiarity with test case creation, bug reporting, or testing tools is advantageous.
• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, or similar platforms is beneficial but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or automation testing is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and learn in a professional team environment.
