A well-established 4,500-acre farming operation near Moonie, QLD is looking for an experienced Farm Hand to join the team long-term.
Growing sorghum, chickpeas and barley, this position is entirely focused on cropping, with no livestock work required. There is plenty of variety across the season, including spraying, planting, harvest support, grain cartage and moving straw back to the shed.
They are a long-established farming family who have been part of the district for many years, with a strong history of staff retention. They’re looking for someone who will fit well with the team and ideally stay long-term.

- Confidence operating tractors and farm machinery
- Ability to drive trucks on-farm for grain and straw cartage
- Good mechanical & welding aptitude
- Initiative and common sense
- Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box

More than anything, they want someone who
takes pride in their work and looks after the machinery they operate. Someone who keeps the gear clean, notices when something needs attention and treats the machinery with respect.
