About the Role

The Quality Assurance Associate plays a key role ensuring products supplied to customers meet all regulatory, contractual and internal quality standards. This role is responsible for supporting batch release activities, supplier quality oversight, warehouse quality management and continuous improvement
initiatives to maintain compliance and continuity of supply. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products while driving operational excellence across the quality function.

Role & Responsibilities

• Review batch documentation and perform release-for-distribution activities in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, deviations and product defects, conducting risk assessments and supporting appropriate resolution activities.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, warehouses and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product quality and continuity of supply.
• Support stability programs, supplier quality reviews, local packaging activities and release-for-supply processes.
• Maintain quality documentation, records and controlled documents within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies, GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs or a related compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding and practical application of GMP, pharmaceutical quality systems and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to investigate quality and compliance issues, analyse information and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related scientific disciplines.
