About the role:
The Telehealth Support Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery and coordination of telehealth services. This position involves providing both administrative and technical support to healthcare professionals and patients, fostering seamless communication and efficient operations. The coordinator is responsible for managing scheduling, troubleshooting technical issues, and facilitating problem resolution to enhance the overall quality of patient care delivered through virtual platforms.
  
Role & Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for telehealth inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Educate patients on telehealth processes and answer any questions.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to align telehealth services with clinical needs.
• Liaise with stakeholders such as laboratory clinics, medical clinics and radiology clinics to ensure patient results are readily available and accessible to referring practitioners and their GPs.
• Update clinical templates, letter heads and referral letters at the direction of clinical governance manager and in accordance with policy.
• Coordinate cancelled and rescheduled patient bookings (both patient initiated and NP absence/sick leave, etc.

Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare or IT preferred.
• Proven experience in a healthcare or administrative role, ideally in a telehealth or virtual care setting.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in telehealth platforms and general IT troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
