Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to educate and support nurses and other primary care professionals by raising awareness of a specific disease state.
This role also includes performing thorough patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality nursing care in pharmacy or other healthcare settings.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Establishing working relationships with GP’s, practice nurses and primary healthcare professionals/stakeholders
- Educating GP’s and practice nurses on a specific disease state · Running patient searches for auditing, monitoring outcomes and GP professional development
- Conducting patient searches for audit purposes, tracking outcomes, and supporting the professional development of General Practitioners
- Managing a territory y of GP clinics across metro and rural areas
- Develop, organize, and deliver educational presentations to groups of primary care professionals, while also offering personalized one-on-one teaching sessions.
- Collaborate within a dynamic national team, gaining exposure to innovative products, programs, and services.
- Be familiar with and follow all clinic protocols, procedures and policies for each engagement.
- Assessment, planning and delivery of care to people who have acute and/or chronic physical and mental health issues in pharmacy or other settings
Skills & Experience: - Full Australian driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration
- Previous sales experience (preferred by not essential)
- Preferred experience delivering education to primary care professionals
