About the Role
This is a critical role to assist in facilitating the Demand Process across Arrotex. Primarily operational in nature to ensure robust 36 month's forecast are in place. To assist in maintaining forecasts, to improve forecast accuracy and in turn avoid Out of Stocks and minimising overstocks. With a strategic slant, this role requires that the future Arrotex Demand needs are anticipated, and continuous improvements are predicted, clearly understood, communicated, and solutions are proactively developed in advance.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Generate the ‘Demand sheets’ monthly. The forecast utilises information from a wide range of sources including, current forecast, historic data, secondary sales performance.
• Reviewing forecasts to ensure forecasts align with projected trend based on internal and external market insights and to ensure relevant seasonal shape has been applied
• Collaborate across business units to ensure relevant incremental forecast assumptions are reviewed, approved, and updated
• Converting parent level forecast to item level
• Updating forecasts in ERP
• Assist in creating unconstrained and constrained forecasts to finance monthly
• Support the conducting of the Pre-Demand meeting to discuss the forecast, discuss any issues, concerns, make preliminary adjustments and documenting agreed assumptions.
• Collate all the information obtained from the ‘Pre-Demand’ meetings to form a combined forecast.
• Identify major forecast changes; highlight and escalate to Demand Manager

Key Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a Demand Planning role. Ideally this experience is gained within manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or FMCG company,
• Knowledge of Demand Planning best practice and the ability to implement that vision within an entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent Demand planning knowledge of systems and processes from supplier to consumer.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Managing deadlines in a changing environment; strong organisation skills.
• Business planning skills, including broad understanding of financial implications and trend recognition.
• Managing conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Analysing, interpreting and presenting data or business cases, in order to provide solutions, optimised systems and processes.
