UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

About The Opportunity: 

The purpose of the Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator is to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring UON’s communications, marketing plan, brand strategy and reputation.

• Coordinate and monitor the company's brand identity.
• Coordinate UON lead events and marketing campaigns.
• Liaise with UON business partners to ensure UON participates and is represented in line with UON’s communications, marketing plan, brand strategy and Code of Conduct.
• Define, Run and implement all marketing campaigns.
• Develop and deliver creative production marketing.
• Coordinate a centralised messaging plan for external communications.
• Coordinate and monitor website content development.
• Conduct site visits to gather drone footage for social media and website updates.
• Report Marketing and Communications content. 
• Manage and maintain all external communications.
• Facilitate and present marketing material.
• Collaborate with internal business units to provide communications advice and solutions.

About You:

This position will suit a seasoned Marketing & Communications professional who has demonstrable communication and collaboration skills and thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same.

• High level written communications skills, with excellent writing, editing and proofing abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in relationship building among internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultures, professions, ages and needs.
• Ability to balance competing projects and adapt to shifting priorities within a fast-paced work environment.
• High level of initiative and ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ability to operate on both strategic and operational levels.
• Sound analytical skills with the ability to translate marketing data into strategic insights.
• Tertiary qualifications (University Degree) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Community Development or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in community engagement and strategic communications.
• Knowledge and experience of current digital marketing trends, communication, and design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, content creation, Google AdWords Analytics and Ai. Tertiary qualifications (University Degree) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Community Development or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in community engagement and strategic communications.
• Knowledge and experience of current digital marketing trends, communication, and design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, content creation, Google AdWords Analytics and Ai.
