About The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a number of experienced Project Engineers from ELECTRICAL background who are creative, can think outside the box and manage a busy workload, to join our teams.

You will be working a 2:1 roster alongside fantastic teams of highly skilled individuals, to deliver site specific solutions to our clients. This will entail a range of activities that will keep you engaged and present great opportunities for professional growth and development.
 

Key Duties of this role include.

• Maintain compliance with UON and Client HSE requirements.
• Plan and coordinate project engineering assignments entailing technical specifications and the preparation of detailed plans.
• Actively promote environmental management initiatives.
• Act as a trouble shooter and ensure any potential problems are alerted to the appropriate senior team member.
• Build strong relationships and networks with clients, project teams, design teams and subcontractors.
• Complete material take-offs and check against contract documents.
• Maintain document registers with project.
• Prepare programs for allocated work packages that meets the objectives of the project.

About You: 

This position will suit a proactive and technically skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative project environment. You bring a strong mix of engineering expertise and interpersonal capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Sound technical engineering knowledge and understanding – specifically in Pipeline, Hydraulic Calculations, Pumps, Valves, generators, testing and commissioning process, ITP.
• Be knowledgeable in multi-disciplinary facets of construction with a strong focus on pumping, pipeline and dewatering infrastructure
• High level of communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Sound computer literacy skills – proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Maintain personal accountability and be able to work autonomously
• Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practice.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Electronic) – BEng or Equivalent
• A minimum of 5 Years post trade industry experience
• Experience working in power reticulation with high and low frequency
• Knowledge of construction activities and processes
• A valid WA manual driver’s license.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding.
• Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
• Prior exposure to earthworks, concrete, structures and dewatering projects.
