About The Opportunity:  

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical HD Fitter | Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Malaga Perth.

This position will suit a skilled and self-motivated HD Mechanic with prior exposure to maintenance and testing of power generation, dewatering and pump equipment. 
  

• Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Equipment Mechanic (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
• A minimum of 3 years' experience of Servicing and Diagnostics experience gained in heavy vehicle, mining, heavy construction, materials handling or similar heavy industry.
• Power pack swap-outs.
• All associated mechanical works - fuel / cooling/ guarding / pumps / mechanical assembly of products.
• Assist in prototype builds and process documentation.
• Assist in quality and safety documentation, assist developing efficient mechanical designs with suitable fittings to identify bill of materials / use of UON proprietary Quality tablet system for MDR records.
• Ability to work alone or as a team, maintain a clean / safe / efficient workspace.
