About the role
An exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career and to help create Standards which contribute towards keeping our Australian community safe.
You will be responsible for actively supporting National Mirror Committees’ involvement in international standardisation work, including their participation in international balloting, their attendance at international Technical Committee meetings, and Identical Adoptions (IDT).
What you’ll do
- Coordinate Australian participation at ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), including facilitating and managing National Mirror Committees’ participation in international standards development work, international meetings and international balloting
- Provide International Technical Committee support. The role occasionally requires attending international conference calls outside normal business hours
- Liaise with experts for input to international projects in areas of high net benefit to the Australian community
- Monitor and progress IDT project deliverables ensuring targets, timelines, controls and quality parameters are met in accordance with Standards Australia’s project management methodology
- Maintain plans and information for projects using the organisation's enterprise project management system, including scope, size and timelines
- Build and support working relationships with project stakeholders, upholding the Standards Australia brand at all times
- Provide guidance to committees and other stakeholders on Standards Australia’s International policies and standards development processes
- Active participation in team and departmental activities to support and drive continuous improvement
About you - 3+ years’ experience in an office administration role
- Experience utilising project management methodologies will be highly regarded
- Experience coordinating consensus outcomes (or similar) will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive attitude and enthusiastic
