A warm and welcoming family in Pelham, NY is seeking a kind, proactive, and engaging nanny/family assistant to support their two school-aged children (ages 5 and 8). This is a long-term, part-time role ideal for someone who truly loves working with children and enjoys helping a home run smoothly.
Schedule & Compensation

• Monday-Friday
• Guaranteed 30 hours/week (flexible up to 40 hours for the right candidate)
• Starting at $40/hour, depending on experience
• August 2026 start date (with overlap and training alongside current nanny through mid-August)

Responsibilities

• School pickups and after-school care
• Driving children to and from after-school activities (one child has activities most days)
• Engaging, age-appropriate activities and play
• Light meal prep for children (simple, healthy meals)
• Children's laundry and organization
• Running occasional errands
• Keeping the home tidy and "in place" during working hours (no deep cleaning)
• Assisting with children's evening routines, including occasional baths

• Warm, reliable, and genuinely loves children
• Has a "domestic flair" and takes pride in maintaining an organized home
• Comfortable driving children and managing a busy after-school schedule
• Flexible to work additional hours during school breaks, holidays, or as needed
