Family Assistant / Nanny
Location: Mojave Desert, CA (frequent domestic & international travel)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PM & 4:00 PM-8:00 PM (flexible afternoons/evenings)
Start Date: August 2025
Compensation: $45-50/hour DOE + travel expenses and accommodations
Commitment: Long-term
A private family is seeking an experienced, travel-ready Family Assistant/Nanny to support a hands-on mother and provide exceptional care for two boys (ages 1 and 2.5). This role combines nurturing, development-focused childcare with household and administrative support in a dynamic, travel-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide attentive care and support developmental milestones
-Plan engaging activities, prepare meals, and manage children's routines
-Coordinate schedules, appointments, and travel logistics
-Assist with household organization, errands, and administrative tasks
-Travel domestically and internationally with the family as needed
Ideal Candidate
-Experienced nanny and/or family assistant with private families
-Strong knowledge of child development and toddler care
-Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and discreet
-Comfortable in a collaborative household and frequent travel environment
-Strong communication and time-management skills
Requirements
-Valid passport and driver's license (manual transmission preferred)
-Able to lift up to 60 lbs
-Pet friendly and non-smoker
-Pass comprehensive background check
-Long-term mindset and flexibility to travel extensively
