Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Programme Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their operations. 

Position: Programme Support Officer
Rate: £17 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (May 2025) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

Service Are - Housing Operations

• To plan resources effectively and ensure that they are deployed in line with Council regulations, rules, standards and approved budgets in order to assist the Programme Managers in delivering an effective, high quality, value for money and customer focused maintenance, repairs and commercial service to meet client aspirations and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of staff, customers and the public at all times.
• Deal with incoming and outgoing public and internal contact (telephone, face to face, written, electronic etc.) in a friendly, courteous, empathetic, efficient and calm manner adhering to the appropriate standards, procedures and policies.
• Maintain proprietary online database systems and manual document scanning and filing systems i.e. asbestos, ladder, Quality Control etc. ensuring efficient retrieval of information in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Administration Assistant or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. 
• NVQ 2 or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience of working in a call centre or of planning and deploying resources in a maintenance environment to meet deadlines / standards.
• Have a practical understanding of the construction / property maintenance industry, general repairs and void property management, asbestos, scaffolding and damp reduction.
