Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Housing Association, who are looking for a Development Accountant to join their team based in Dorset. 

Position: Development Accountant        
Rate: £46,344   
Location: Dorset                  
Work Type: Permanent

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Monitor on-going performance of Group's development portfolio, reporting findings to Account Seniors. 
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external development partners. 
• Assist with cash flow preparation and support in the analysis of this. 
• Support with budgeting and forecasting as well as the production of monthly management accounts. 
• Ensure financial records are accurately reflected in the accounting systems. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Qualified accountant with CCAB body membership. 
• Previous background experience in management and statutory accounting. 
• Housing sector experience (desired). 
• Strong IT skills.
