We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant, on behalf of our client based in South London. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 3 Months.

PAY RATE: £14p/h Umbrella
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: South London
Hybrid Working

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Assist in the provision of a high quality, efficient financial service to the Directorate.
Duties include the preparation and processing of financial information and advising on financial matters relating to all aspects of the Section’s work.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Experience working with local authorities.
Experience of working in a finance environment.
Good IT and organisational skills.
Able to provide advice on financial procedures
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and techniques.
