Contract: 3 months minimum (Possible Extension)
Salary: £350 a day (Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Full-time  

DUTIES   

• Take the strategic lead for the development operational service transformation across the Early Years sector.
• To secure information, advice and training to childcare providers (commissioning or direct delivery).
• Provide effective leadership, development and market management of the early years, childcare and out of school sector.
• To secure early childhood services that are provided in an integrated manner, improving outcomes for children under 5 and reduce inequalities.
• To ensure oversight of budget and resource planning so that financial targets are met.

• Previous experience working within the public sector or a similar organisation.
• Demonstrable experience within a Service Manager role or equivalent.
• Qualified (minimum level 6/degree) in a relevant subject (for example: Early Years, Education, Childcare).
• In-depth and specialist knowledge of current legislation and policy and awareness of imminent policy change in relation to early years and EYFS.
• Extensive experience and proven track record at management level of successfully developing and delivering early years, childcare and advisory services.
