About the Opportunity
As part of the St Francis College community we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 60 children ranging in ages from 5-13 years old, to support the families in our community. St Francis' OSHC operates in the front hall building of St Francis College.
Our team is looking for a Diploma Qualified, OSHC educator to join our esteemed team on a casual basis, with the potential to train as a Person In Day to Day Charge (PIDTDC) and step up as a supervisor in the absence of the service Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
- Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements: - Hold a Diploma or ACECQA Equivalent highly desired but not essential
Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) - Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
