We are seeking casual educators to join our team at Stephens OSHC. 

St Stephen’s OSHC offers education and care services for as many as 120 children. We provide excellent before and after school care, along with engaging vacation care programs, for students from Prep to Year 6. 

At St Stephen’s we recognise that every child is distinct and learn in their own way.  Therefore, our educator invest time in understanding each child and their family, allowing us to design engaging learning experiences that capture their interest and help them build new skills.   

Our program, designed in collaboration with children and families, blends structured learning with fun, spontaneous activities. It is a space where kids do not just learn—they thrive, thanks to the creativity and care of our dedicated educators.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

• Providing nurturing care for children
• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care

Job Requirements:

• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates or willingness to obtain
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Confidence in building strong relationships with children and families
• A supportive and enthusiastic disposition
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
