Ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic OSHC program?
We are looking for an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead Our Lady of Dolours Outside School Hours Care in Mitchelton. This is a permanent, full-time position.
At Our Lady of Dolours OSHC, we offer before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 60 children. We're proud to be part of the vibrant Our Lady of Dolours School and parish community.
Our program is flexible, child-driven, and inspired by the interests, cultures, and ideas of the children. We provide a supportive environment where kids can explore, create, and learn something new every day.
We have a supportive management team and head office staff, who work together with you to ensure the service provides the best quality care for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.
- Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
