Casual Educator – St Luke’s OSHC, Capalaba Flexible hours | Fun, supportive team | Make a real difference

Are you passionate about supporting children to learn, grow, and thrive?

St Luke’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Educator to join our team. We provide Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs for up to 75 children in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you’ll play a key role in creating fun, meaningful, and educational experiences for primary school-aged children. You will help children explore, learn, and develop in a nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with children to design and deliver engaging recreational and educational activities
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
• Participate in professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Build strong connections with families and the local community, reflecting Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy and values

About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Certificate III in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines. 
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks. 
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment. 
• Effective workplace communication skills  
• Willingness to obtain a Child Protection training as required
