Injury Management Advisor 
 
Location: Brisbane City 
Employment: Permanent Full-Time (Monday to Friday)  
Open to Part Time/School Based hours.

About the Role 
We are seeking a proactive Injury Management Advisor to support the effective management of workplace injuries and return-to-work processes across a diverse workforce. 
You will work closely with managers, employees, and external stakeholders to deliver timely, compliant, and supportive injury management practices. This role focuses on achieving safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes while ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and organisational policies. 
 
Responsibilities 

• Coordinate end-to-end injury management and return-to-work processes  
• Develop, implement, and monitor return-to-work plans in consultation with stakeholders  
• Liaise with employees, managers, insurers, and medical professionals  
• Provide guidance to managers on injury management, workers' compensation, and early intervention strategies  
• Ensure compliance with applicable workers' compensation and work health and safety (WHS) legislation  
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date case records  
• Monitor claims progress and identify opportunities to improve outcomes  
• Contribute to injury prevention initiatives and promote a safe workplace culture  
• Support reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement activities  

 
About You 

• Demonstrated experience in injury management, return-to-work coordination, or a similar role  
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and WHS practices (Queensland experience advantageous)  
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills  
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality  
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities  
• A proactive and solution-focused approach  
• Have a current Paid Blue Card and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
