About the Opportunity

At St Patrick’s Outside School Hours Care, we provide high-quality before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 90 children. Our service is a valued part of the local community, supporting children and families every day.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting primary school-aged children to grow, learn, and thrive. Hours: Casual – flexible shifts available, with opportunities to work across multiple services.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential 
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
