RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families.  

RSL Queensland’s Growth & Transformation Department is embarking on a significant business transformation journey as part of our Lotteries 2030 Strategy with the delivery of the Lotteries Digital Blueprint (LDB) project which aims to improve and modernise our Art Union’s digital customer experience.  

A newly launched technology project requires a Project Manager(12 months FTC) with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, marketing and technology expertise to execute and deliver on an improved digital experience for our Dream Home Art Union customers.  

Reporting to the Transformation Project Director, key responsibilities include: 

• working with Executives, Leaders, Enabling Functions and other staff members as well as our third-party partners in the planning and execution of the project  
• managing all aspects of the assigned projects/initiatives and ensuring alignment to the achievement of LDB objectives 
• leading and organising the Marketing Transformation Workstream (MTW) activities to deliver to plan, schedule and budget 
• monitoring delivery schedules, scopes of work, resource allocation, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies 
• liaising with stakeholders to co-ordinate the efforts of the project team to achieve completion of assigned projects  
• driving required procurement activities and engage relevant stakeholders in adherence to RSLQ policies 
• developing and evaluating project management plans for the MTW, processes, project schedule and budget  
• deliver the Customer Value Proposition benefit of enhanced customer experience & marketing alignment for increased competitiveness through the new SaaS-based Marketing Automation products. 

About you:  

• Business or IT degree and/or Project Management (PM) qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience  
• 10+ years’ experience in a PM role with extensive experience in dealing with stakeholders at senior levels 
• Experience and qualifications in project management principles and technologies (e.g., PRINCE2 Agile, Agile PM, or Waterfall) 
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills 
• Employs strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines
