Now, a bit about the role:
As the Marketing Planning & Performance Lead, you will be the strategic integrator for Marketing & Communications — the person who brings structure, alignment, and insight to a fastmoving, purpose driven team.
You’ll translate strategic direction into clear plans, coordinate dependencies between senior leaders, and ensure our marketing efforts are sequenced, measured, and delivering value.
You’ll develop performance dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data driven insights that help optimise strategy, strengthen decision-making, and lift the maturity of our planning and governance processes.
This is a role for someone who embraces planning, understands the “why” behind decisions, and enjoys enabling leaders to drive strategic, insight led marketing outcomes.
You will:
- Lead the integrated planning and performance framework for Marketing & Communications
- Translate the General Manager’s strategic direction into structured plans and delivery planning that ensures clarity, alignment and accountability
- Provide the Heads of Marketing & Engagement and Head of Content & Communications with the insights, foresight and planning discipline they need to develop, execute and optimise strategies
- Connect work across portfolios by managing dependencies, shared milestones and integration points
- Build dashboards and performance frameworks that turn data into real, executive and Board level insight
- Coordinate research and analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Standardise planning, reporting and governance processes
- Act as the central advisory point for planning, performance and delivery risks.
What’s required to succeed: You’ll thrive in this role if you’re someone who naturally influences through clarity and insight, is highly strategic, curious, and data driven, and builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders. You’ll be working within a high performing, purpose aligned team, so the ability to collaborate deeply, maintain quality under complexity, and bring people together around shared priorities is essential.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- A degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing or similar, or equivalent experience
- 8–10+ years’ experience in strategic planning, performance management, PMO or governance
- Strong capability in designing KPIs, performance frameworks and executive-level reporting
- Experience working with senior leaders in complex organisational environments
- Systems thinking, structured planning, and strong governance capability
You’ll also be motivated by driving business outcomes, enabling senior leaders, and optimising marketing strategy using data driven insights. Leading through influence, being results focused, and acting as an enabler are all valuable strengths in this role.
Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need. We’re not afraid to go the extra mile or seek better ways of doing things. We look out for each other; we value all voices and respect perspectives that may differ from our own; and everything we do, we do with heart.
