Role Description
Piston Engine LAME required to support maintenance, repair, overhaul and rebuild of General Aviation piston engines in a dedicated engine workshop environment on the Sunshine Coast.
This role involves working on Lycoming and Continental engines, carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnostics, engine strip-downs, component inspections, rebuilds and post-maintenance testing. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed to a high standard, with accurate documentation and certification where authorised.
The ideal candidate will have strong GA piston engine experience, excellent technical judgement, and the ability to work confidently in an engine overhaul environment. You will apply OEM manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives and regulatory requirements to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality engine outcomes.

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience: Piston engine maintenance, overhaul, rebuild and diagnostics experience. Lycoming & Continental experience preferred.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: CASA LAME licence, Certificate IV in Aeroskills Mechanical/Engine, or equivalent aviation maintenance qualification.
Work Rights: Australian work rights preferred. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.
Skills: Diagnostics, fault finding, engine overhaul, rebuilds, inspections, engine testing and strong documentation discipline.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret OEM manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives and maintenance documentation.
