Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in (Brisbane, QLD). If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Support maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities for aerospace propulsion systems
• Assist with engineering investigations, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements
• Work across turbine engines, mechanical systems, and advanced manufacturing projects
• Support test cell operations, performance analysis, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety and defence quality standards

The essential requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical Engines) 
• Experience within aviation, defence, heavy industry, manufacturing, or rotating equipment environments
• Exposure to gas turbines, engines, aerospace systems, or maintenance engineering highly regarded
• Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Valid work visa;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
• Current Australian Driver's licence.
