Role Description
Piston Engine Shop Technician required to support maintenance, repair, overhaul and rebuild of piston engines in a dedicated General Aviation engine workshop on the Sunshine Coast.
This role is suited to a highly skilled, hands-on engine technician with strong mechanical capability, excellent workmanship and the ability to take ownership in a workshop environment. Experience with Lycoming and Continental piston engines is highly regarded, however strong experience in aviation engine shops, piston engine workshops, or high-quality mechanical engine rebuild environments will also be considered.
You will support the full engine shop process, including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, measuring, troubleshooting, component replacement, reassembly and post-maintenance testing. You will work to strict quality, safety and documentation standards, supporting the delivery of reliable piston engine outcomes for General Aviation aircraft.

Essential Requirements
Required Role Experience: Hands-on engine maintenance, repair, overhaul, rebuild or workshop experience. Lycoming & Continental piston engine experience highly regarded.
Maintenance Qualification / Licence: Aircraft maintenance, mechanical trade, engine technician qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
Work Rights: Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
Skills: Engine strip-down, inspection, measuring, diagnostics, component replacement, reassembly, testing and strong documentation discipline.
Tools: Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, dial indicators and torque wrenches highly regarded.
