Sports & Spinal Group is seeking a Quality Document Controller to join our Group Services team. This role is perfect for someone who’s highly organised, detail-driven, proactive, and committed to supporting best practice across a growing healthcare organisation.
About the Role
The Quality Document Controller plays a key role in ensuring the effective management, access and implementation of quality systems and processes through the administration of organisational quality and operational documents and systems.
Working closely with our Group Operations Manager, Operations Leaders and Service Partners, you will manage the documents and systems which under pin our requirements including NDIS Quality Standards, Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission requirements, WHS legislation and our internal procedures.
You will be the central point for document control, quality systems, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, including document control and compliance registers.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements (NDIS, Aged Care, WHS) and translate changes into operational actions.
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits, support external audits, and assist with corrective action follow-up.
- Support leaders with process mapping, continuous improvement activities, and risk/feedback management.
- Manage quality-related systems and administration, including SharePoint, contracts, and compliance training.
- Prepare quality, compliance and risk reports for management and committees.
- Promote and uphold workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain the Quality inbox and assist with general compliance communication and stakeholder support.
About You - Highly organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and comfortable working across digital systems (SharePoint advantageous).
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, audits, and document control.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can engage and support stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of NDIS Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards and WHS requirements is desirable.
