We are working closely with a well-established food manufacturing client in the Bay of Plenty who are looking to for reliable, hands-on Operators to join their production team. This is a genuine opportunity to step into a business that is building towards being one of the region’s standout manufacturing employers.
The role is based in a modern facility in Mount Maunganui. The work is varied, physical and structured across several production stages including packing, process loading, quality testing, lab work and forklift-assisted materials handling. You’ll be working in a team of 8–10 people per shift, contributing directly to production output and product quality.
Day-to-day you’ll be:
- Packing product (including lifting up to 25kg bags and box handling)
- Supporting quality control and lab testing of finished product
- Assisting with process loading and raw material handling
- Operating (or training into) PLC and automated process areas over time
- Following strict hygiene, safety and SOP standards across all tasks
We’re looking for people with food or process manufacturing experience, a forklift licence and a strong safety-first attitude.
