We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Assessment Worker to join a specialist support service.
  
This important role involves engaging with individuals affected by domestic abuse, completing high-quality risk and needs assessments, and ensuring survivors are connected to the most appropriate support services to enhance safety and wellbeing.
  
Key responsibilities include:

• Provide quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Conducting comprehensive risk and needs assessments
• Providing immediate emotional and practical support
• Developing safety and support plans
• Provide a triage service for clients waiting to move onto the community support.
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies
• Maintaining accurate and confidential case records
• Supporting safeguarding processes and referrals

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with vulnerable individuals or within support services
• Understands the dynamics and impact of domestic abuse
• Has strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
• Can manage sensitive situations professionally and empathetically
• Is committed to empowerment, equality, and survivor-focused practice
