About the Role This is a pivotal, hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business. You'll work closely with the wider team, ensuring systems, processes, and compliance requirements are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Ensure GST, FBT, and PAYE obligations are met accurately and on time
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Complete monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Support monthly reporting and assist with annual accounts preparation
- Maintain budgets and assist with financial tracking
- Oversee banking, payments, and petty cash
- Provide administrative support across the business, including HR administration documentation and insurance claims
- Step in to support dispatch or customer service when required
About You If you are the ideal candidate for this role you will have:
- Proven experience in office management, accounts, or senior administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll, GST, and general financial processes
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
