About the role
Reporting directly to a partner, you will take on a central role in the delivery of tax and advisory services to the client portfolio. This is a client-facing position with management responsibility. You will be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients while mentoring and supervising a team of junior accountants and offshore staff.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns, financial statements, and compliance work
• Acting as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, providing proactive and technically sound advice
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and contributing to strategic advisory engagements
• Supervising, reviewing, and mentoring junior accountants and offshore team members to ensure quality and accuracy
• Collaborating with partners on complex matters, research, and client deliverables
• Managing workflow, deadlines, and team output to meet client expectations

About you
You are an experienced accountant who is ready to start owning outcomes. You thrive on complexity, communicate confidently with clients, and take pride in the quality of your work. Experience wihtin public practice is ideal, however commercial experience with exposure to senior leadership will also be considered. 

• 3–6 years of experience in an accounting function
• Strong technical knowledge across income tax, CGT, and entity structures
• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Experience with complex clients including trusts, companies, family groups, and/or SMSFs
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships independently
• A natural communicator who can translate complex tax concepts for clients
• Experience supervising or reviewing junior staff is an advantage
