Global Spill & Safety, located in Thomastown, VIC 3074, an established Australian manufacturer and supplier of workplace safety products, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Signwriter to become part of their team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing, designing and producing signage in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements.
• Operating digital, flatbed and large-format printing equipment for the production of safety, workplace and road signage.
• Preparing artwork, lettering, graphics and layouts for printing and sign production.
• Applying vinyl lettering, graphics and printed materials to a variety of sign surfaces and substrates.
• Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing signage using appropriate tools, equipment and materials.
• Checking completed signage for accuracy, quality, dimensions and finish prior to dispatch or installation.
• Maintaining printing and signwriting equipment and keeping work areas organised and safe.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures and relevant signage specifications and standards.
About you:
• At least one year of relevant experience in signwriting, signage production or a closely related role.
• Experience with digital printing, vinyl application and sign production techniques.
• Ability to interpret artwork, layouts, measurements and job specifications accurately.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on producing high-quality finished work.
• Ability to safely operate signwriting, printing and associated production equipment.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a production team.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
