Our client is a well-established, values driven healthcare organisation providing integrated physical and mental health services across New Zealand. The opportunity
This is a senior clinical leadership role for an experienced Physiotherapist who enjoys combining hands-on clinical work with mentoring and service leadership. You will act as the designated lead for an MSK clinic site, maintaining your own caseload while supporting the clinical development, quality, and performance of the physiotherapy team.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the clinical lead for an MSK clinic site, delivering advanced physiotherapy services
- Maintain a clinical caseload while working autonomously and supporting best practice care
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and second opinion support to physiotherapists and graduates
- Support clinic operations to ensure smooth day to day running and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, clinical standards, and service specifications
- Communicate effectively with ACC and other funding bodies, including reporting and clinical reasoning
- Contribute to staff training, peer review, and continuous professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support diary management, workload allocation, and service efficiency
Requirements - Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and registration as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand
- Minimum of 5 years' post qualification clinical experience
- Experience or strong interest in leadership, mentoring, or senior clinical roles
- Sound knowledge of ACC contracts, rehabilitation pathways, and clinical documentation
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Postgraduate qualification (completed or working towards) preferred
