As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a neurophysiology technologist to be based in Pinelands, Western Cape.

Our client is a specialised neurology practice providing patient-centred care within a professional clinical environment. The opportunity
 
The Neurophysiology Technologist will be responsible for performing specialised diagnostic procedures and supporting the delivery of high-quality neurophysiology services. This role requires a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual who can operate independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret EEG studies, including prolonged and overnight recordings
• Conduct nerve conduction studies and other neurophysiology tests
• Perform visual evoked potentials and repetitive stimulation studies
• Ensure accurate recording, analysis and reporting of diagnostic results
• Manage administrative duties including report writing and documentation
• Assist in the management of neurophysiology services and related supplies
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient care and confidentiality
• Travel to hospitals and facilities as required to provide services
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care

Requirements:

• Qualified neurophysiology technologist registered with HPCSA
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience post qualification or training
• Proven competence in EEG, nerve conduction studies, VEP and related procedures
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between facilities
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Willingness to work standard hours and after hours when required
