As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for an Acute Clinical Technologist based in Giyani and Musina, Limpopo, South Africa.  The Acute Clinical Technologist is to provide quality care to patients in need of dialysis. Collaborate as a team to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to POPIA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Provide optimal patient care as per the treatment scope of practice.
• Ensure required patient documentation is maintained for patients in your care.
• Maintain open communication with medical practitioners to ensure optimum care is provided to patients in your care.
• Manage and maintain all medical equipment in accordance with technical policies and procedures.
• Plan appropriately and timeously for equipment and consumables for acute settings.
• Supervise staff where necessary to ensure patient treatments are carried out accordingly.
• Manage administrative responsibilities timeously within set deadlines.
• Comply with company clinical policies, procedures and protocols.
• Conduct staff and patient related education regularly and maintain open communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are followed.

• Qualified as a Clinical Technologist with a valid HPCSA registration
• Min 5 years experience
• Computer literate
• ACLS certified
• Valid driver’s license
• Role will require incumbent to travel up to 60% of the time within South Africa (nonnegotiable)
