As an emerging medical recruitment agency growing across Australia and New Zealand, we now have an opportunity available for a Clinical Psychologist to be based in Whanganui, New Zealand.

Their Whanganui service is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to delivering meaningful, community-based care.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessments and interventions as part of a wider rehab team. This is a varied role with the opportunity to work across private and community settings, supporting clients with mental health, pain management, and return-to-work goals. You’ll be supported by experienced peers and leaders who foster continuous growth and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs
- Carry out psychological assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Liaise with families, referrers, and external agencies to support client outcomes
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reporting
- Participate in ongoing service development and reflective practice
Requirements - Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board with a current APC
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team
