The Opportunity
This is a rewarding opportunity for a Hand Therapist to take on a pivotal clinical role within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work with a variety of clients, providing rehabilitation for hand and upper limb injuries. With autonomy in your caseload, structured support, and access to development resources, this is an ideal environment for a clinician who thrives in a patient-centred and progressive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat hand and upper limb injuries
- Develop personalised rehabilitation and splinting plans
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and manage documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contribute to case reviews and ongoing service improvement initiatives
Requirements - Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Member of HTNZ, PBNZ, or OTNZ
- Proven experience in hand therapy or upper limb rehabilitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
