About the role
We are looking for an Intermediate Risk Assurance & Consulting Intermediate to join our growing Risk Advisory team.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in audit, risk, or consulting who is ready to step into a broader, more advisory-focused role. You’ll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and projects.
You’ll contribute across risk assurance, internal audit, controls reviews, process improvement and third‑party assurance engagements helping boards, audit committees and management teams make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and deliver risk assurance, internal audit and consulting engagements across a range of industries
- Assess internal controls, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Assist with process reviews and control improvement initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and identify key business risks
- Help design and implement pragmatic risk management solutions
- Prepare clear, client-ready reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and practical way
- Collaborate effectively within project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Stay informed on emerging risk, control and regulatory developments
Experience & Attributes - 1–2 years’ experience in professional services (audit, risk, assurance, or consulting)
- Exposure to internal or external audit, risk management, or controls environments
- Working towards (or intending to pursue) CAANZ, CIMA, CIIA, or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Takes ownership and accountability for delivering quality work
- Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Experience with flowcharting or data analytics tools is advantageous
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally
